Every Wednesday and Sunday (except Easter 💜) we are in here at @hopecitycrossfit working our bodies and minds. Humbling our egos, humbling our hearts. Being honest with ourselves, and with each other. How do you nurture your relationships ? For many of us, relationships are damaged because of communication - lack of, dishonest, truthful but hurtful ? Love the accountability our group brings and the cultivation of “safe space” for the vulnerability! We’ve been blessed as well the last couple weeks as we’ve had some yummy meals donated by our local Mason & Shriners group that we’ve been distributing during posted times ! Make sure to follow our FB page for those updates ! #addictionrecovery #community #crossfit We had to pause during small group and take in the sunset Sunday evening! Take some time and think about what makes you still if only for a couple minutes ? Sunrises and sunsets make me appreciate the life the Lord has allowed to me live ! This morning we are at Knights Inn cooking and serving free breakfast for our community ! We will have our backpacks, essentials, and harm reduction supplies to hand out as well as resource connections ! Come see us! Get plugged in to community - your biggest prevention factor for recovery ! 4th annual backpack drive for our homeless and underserved ! AND in our new home! 75 bags filled with essentials and love and praying Jesus over every item for the next hand they land in. Thank you to everyone that has came by if only for a few minutes we appreciate all the support. If you or someone you knew is in need of a backpack, sleeping bag, tent, harm reduction supplies (narcan, clean syringes, fentanyl test strips etc) PLEASE reach out and let me know so we can get them to you! Hodge spent some time in Ohio learning how a group stopped waiting on the government to solve their opioid crisis and blazed a new trail… Hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Shakori is almost here👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 We’ve had some folks ask how they can finanically contribute. We are a 501c3 non profit and our ID is on our PayPal if you need it for tax purposes ! Donations are used to facilitate our weekly CrossFit classes that are free to the community, outreach (food, clothing, emergency lodging, essentials), harm reduction distribution (narcan, clean syringes, fentanyl testing strips provided by @achd4teens ), transportation & recovery programs, and other barriers that may prevent someone in our addiction recovery community from getting the assistance or support they need! #addiction #mentalhealth #recovery #community #faith #alamancecounty #naloxonesaveslives Community tent and sleeping bag drive w/ @kristaknight81 ! Yall we are little over halfway to our goal and collecting through end of week !less than 20 needed of each !
